Shepherd Team

  The Psalms tell us that the "Lord is my Shepherd. I shall not want." Throughout the scriptures, we find the repeated image of God as Shepherd. The shepherd watched out over the flocks. He cared for them and protected them. He knew where each of the sheep was at and didn't let them slip away.


   We also are trying to look out after our sheep (our parishioners) the group that does this is our Shepherd Team. We just began it in January of 2014 and we still trying to discover the areas of ministry into which God is leading us. Currently, our Team is tasked with making sure the flock doesn't just disappear. If you are not here on a Sunday, we note your absence and someone will contact you to see if things are okay. The more you miss, the more contacts we will make. We believe that each person is important and we don't want anyone to fall between the cracks and just disappear. We want you to know you are loved and, more importantly, that you are missed.
