Martha S. requests prayers for Jim C. who has a MRSA infection in his foot and for Rosie M. who is having surgery Monday.
Dell W. gave praise that her 4 year old great grandson gave the blessing for Thanksgiving and it was a perfect little prayer.
Debbie G. requests prayers for Sarah S. whose father passed away week before last. She has lost both of her parents in less than a year.
Dennis A. gave praise that we were able to give out 83 Thanksgiving boxes on November 18 and fed more than 400 people. He gave praise to both God and the people of our church.

Christy S. requests prayers for traveling mercies as she travels home on Monday and to the Union Playoff football game on Saturday. She also shared a joy about the Union High School football team winning the first playoff game to advance to the second.
Ben A. welcomed Rev. Roy H. and shared a praise that Rev. Roy's father, the late Leroy H., was the minister who invited him and insisted he join the United Methodist Church.
David G. requests prayers for traveling mercies as he will be flying to Florida on Wednesday to be with his family.
Robert H. gave thanks for all the prayers. The tumors have shrunk markedly. Lymph nodes are now the same size on both sides of his body. He also thanked everyone for the beautiful orchid.
Ashley T. gave praise for the Thanksgiving boxes program being such a success. She thanked everyone for their support and gave thanks to God that it went so well.
Diane B. gave praise that Hunter has been accepted to Wake Forest.
Martha S. gave praise that Luke is engaged and they are looking forward to a wedding next year.

Terry G. requests prayers for Jackie M.'s husband who is in the hospital. He also requests prayers for Thelma T. who fell and is in the hospital. Terry G. requests prayers for Jean H. who is not feeling well today and for Ruben A. who had surgery last week and had to go to the ER over the weekend, but is back home. Terry G. gave thanks and recognition to all the veterans.
Christy S. requests prayers for her friends who live in Michigan, Bill and Diane M. Bill is in the hospital in ICU. Christy is requesting prayers to figure out what is going on with him and prayers for healing. Christy S. also requests prayers for traveling mercies and the Union High School Bears travel to Dan River for the second playoff game.
Nancy A. gave praise that her brother, Dennis S. received a good report from the doctor and will not be needing surgery. Thanks be to God!
Robert H. has his next chemo treatment on Wednesday and is needing prayers.
Dotty A. requests prayers for her neighbor, Trish W., who learned she has heart problems when she went for her per-op for knee replacement surgery. The surgery has been delayed.

Kenny S. shared a joy that he was able to be involved with the confirmands as they went through Confirmation.
Bill C. shared a joy that his grandson, Andrew H., traveled to Giles County over the weekend to tryout for the All District Choir, and he made it.
Alberta M. requests prayers for Kameron, Patsy M.'s 2 year old granddaughter. The doctors recently found a tumor in the back of her head and several spots on her brain that are cancerous. A shunt has been placed to drain the fluid.The family is awaiting the results of the biopsy to see what type of cancer it is.
