Terry G. requests prayers for the family of Patrick A. who passed away Saturday. 
Terry G. requests continued prayers and gave praise the Peggy B. is home now.
Terry G. requests prayers for Robert and Carrie G. whose home suffered tornado damage over the weekend.
Terry G. requests prayers for Jim C. who will be taking a high dose antibiotic for the next 2 weeks.
Terry G. requests prayers for the Williams/Barber families following the death of Talon B.
Dotty A. requests prayers for Kurt B. whose home was destroyed during the storms.
Betty C. gave thanks and praise that her son, Gary, is with her this morning.
Paul C. requests prayers for the Union High School Marching Band who are in Washington DC to march in the Memorial Day Parade.
Debbie G. requests prayers for safe travels for her parents who are traveling down from Michigan to spend this week with them.
Martha S. requests prayers for safe travels for Rebecca and Blake who are flying back from Costa Rica.

Terry G. requests prayers for Herbert M. He was admitted to the hospital on Friday due to low blood sugar levels. Terry G. will be traveling to go see Herbert on Wednesday. Terry G. also gave praise and requests continued prayers for Peggy B. Peggy is able to walk 200 feet now, up from 12 feet a week ago and will hopefully get to come home this Saturday. Terry G. have praise that Nancy M. has been moved back to The Laurels. And he gave thanks and praise for Ben and Dotty A. for their celebration at Mountain Empire Community College on Saturday.
Rick G. requests prayers for himself and Cathy and the band member who will be traveling to Luxembourg on Monday. He also requests prayers for himself and David B. as they travel to Oklahoma shortly after returning from Luxembourg.
Alberta M. requests continued prayers for Richard L. who was admitted back into the hospital Friday night.
Christy S. requests continued prayers for Steven S. who is returning to UT to receive another dose of steroids. She also gave praise that all the teachers and students made it through another school year.
Terry G. requests prayers for himself for his sciatic nerve that is acting up.
Kim P. gave praise that she is back at church. She also requests prayers for a young boy, Talon W., who was in an ATV accident and is not doing well. He is currently at UT.
Rick M. gave praise that last weekend he, Susan and his son were able to travel to Indiana to see his son, Kevin, receive his doctorate.
Cindy A. requests continued prayers for Gloria C. who was admitted to the hospital Thursday for problems with kidney stones. As of Saturday she was doing better. The doctors have stopped her chemotherapy because it is making her too sick and she is losing too much weight. The doctors discovered the cancer is in her backbone.
Diane B. requests prayers for her brother, Dale, who has been in the ER a few times this past week for kidney stones and he has a job interview on Monday.

Terry G. requests prayers for Ashley T. and her family during this time of their loss. He also requests prayers for MEOC Walkathon that is taking place later on Sunday. Terry G. requests prayers for Peggy B. who broke her leg just below the hip as she was sitting down. Peggy B. was transferred to Holston Valley Hospital and will have surgery on Monday. Terry G. also gave thanks that Jack and Dell W. are doing well after the incident they endured last week.
Christy S. requests continued prayers for Steven S. He is now back home and the lesion is not malignant. The doctors are giving him a lot of steroids and they believe Steven has a form of multiple sclerosis.
Kathleen G. requests prayers for the family of her sister, Naomi, who passed away this past week.
Rick G. requests prayers for the Smiddy and Collie family.
Paul C. gave thanks and requests prayers for Evan C. and Scott B. who both graduated Saturday. He also requests prayers for safe travels for Evan C. when he leaves later today for a mission trip to Georgia. Paul C. also requests continued prayers for his cousin, Susie R.
Terry G. requests prayers for Ben and Kiera H. who were married on Friday and will be traveling home from Pigeon Forge, TN following their honeymoon.
Debbie G. requests prayers for Carolina F.'s grandson, Max, who is 22 months old and has been diagnosed with Type I Diabetes.
Nancy T. requests prayers for the students of Appalachia Elementary School who will have to transition over to Powell Valley Primary and Middle Schools.

Sandra R. shared the joy of her great granddaughter being born on Tuesday.
Christy S. requests prayers for the Steven S. who was taken to UT for dizziness and double vision. The doctors found a lesion on his brain that is noncancerous. She also requests prayers for Steven's father-in-law who was taken to Holston Valley Hospital for low blood pressure. His medicines were adjusted and he was released. Christy also requests prayers for her friend Sarah whose father recently had heart surgery and she also learned her Irish Wolfhound has bone cancer.
Terry G. requests continued prayers of healing for Becky R.
Patty R. gave praise the her brother, Ronnie P. is in remission and that she has completed her radiation treatments. She also gave thanks to Martha S. and the choir for the anthem they will be singing.
Debbie G. gave praise that Cindy H.'s biopsy came back that the tumor is noncancerous. She requests continued prayers for Cindy H. for recovery.
Jeff W. requests continued prayers for Owen S. His tumor has increased in size and he is currently back home on hospice.
Jan T. requests prayers for Lisa G. who has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer.
Alberta M. requests continued prayers for her cousin, Melanie C. The doctors were unable to remove the mass in her colon and they are hoping chemotherapy will reduce the size of the mass.
Paul C. requests prayers for all the students and teachers in Wise County as testing begins. He also requests prayers for the Trail of the Lonesome Pine this year. He gave praise for both Tim M. and Evan C. who will be graduating Saturday and he requests prayers for safe travels for Evan C. for the mission trip he is going on leaving Sunday.
Cindy A. requests prayers for the family of Ed G. who passed away unexpectedly. She also requests continued prayers for Gloria C. The cancer mass is very large and the doctors are trying to shrink it with radiation. Gloria has also having to take a weekly shot to help strengthen her bones.
