Pastor Terry Goodman
Pastor Goodman came to Trinity UMC in June of 2012. He is currently in his 31st year of ministry as a United Methodist minister in the Holston Annual Conference. He is a graduate of the University of Tennessee where he received a Bachelors of Sciences, with Honors, in Communication. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Candler School of Theology in Atlanta, Georgia.
He is married to his wife of 21 years, Debbie and they have four boys ranging in age from 10 to 17 years old. To varying degrees, they are active in sports: soccer, football, basketball. Some are involved in Scouting. Each displays unique talents and abilities. Pastor Goodman, believes that he has been called, as Ephesians 4 states, "..to equip the saints for the ministry." He places a high value on each person using the gifts and talents that he or she has been given to do the ministry of the kingdom. Pastor Goodman is also a self described "techno-geek" that sees great benefit in the use of technology to help promote the Kingdom and spread God's word. |
