Backpack Packing Party
The Holston Conference supports two different missions in Africa as part of the Hands-On Mission Projects. One is the Liberia Conference and the other is the Ishe Anesu Project for Underprivileged Children in Zimbabwe. Each district assembles different kits which include school supply kits, health kits, food kits, and home kits.
Trinity is a member of the Appalachian District and contributes school kits for Zimbabwe.
Backpacks were taken by congregation members the following Sunday during worship service and special blessings and prayers were bestowed on each pack before being shipped to the conference office.
