Our 2016 Vacation Bible School was Cave Quest: Following Jesus the Light of the World . The Director this year was David Goodman and he got a creative crew together and transformed our church into a spectacular cave theme. We also were fortunate to have the opportunity to offer the transforming power of Jesus Christ to 56 children ages 3 through 6th grade during our five nights of Vacation Bible School.
We had more than 30 adults helping in one way or another with this event. We had a Saturday night closing service and hosted a meal for the children and their families. It was a great closing to a memorable week.

Opening Session

Each night after our snack meal, we would go into the sanctuary for our opening session..

Imagination Station

Each night the children were taken to Imagination Station where they were taught via a demonstration or via a craft.

Recreation Station

Each night the children were offered a recreational opportunity to learn more about the theme of the week.

Music Station

Each night Rick Galyean taught various songs to the children and Angie Tipton taught gestures to accompany the lyrics.

Story Station

Each night the children were led upstairs through a waterfall and into a dark cave to the story room where the various stories for the Vacation Bible School Theme were taught.
